Manna Silks Gems, the most recent designs and colors selected from the “Ready to Wear' categories for Pantone. To create these designs new types of dyes were required. The interaction in the chemical process requires an expanded painting process that also adds to the fixing process. Not only do I steam fix each item I need to chemically fix the scarf. Once double fixed the dyed scarves are cleaned and rinsed soft and finally steam ironed.
The weight of the 14″ x 72″ and the 44″ x 44″ size scarves are still the same luxurious weight. I have found a lighter weight silk for the 44″ x 72” scarf. It's an elegant, luxurious and sheer silk. Exceptionally light and wonderful hand.
